Bravsen: Football xG Analytics & Match Audit

An independent analytical platform dedicated to the absolute deconstruction of football results. We fully abandon emotional bias, replacing traditional sports reporting with a cold mathematical breakdown of performance disparities, threat values, and finishing efficiency.

Luck Factor: Finishing vs. Chance Creation

Unlike standard football media that attributes erratic scorelines to abstract concepts like luck, referee bias, or external conditions, Bravsen Intelligence models every fixture as a sterile data matrix.

Luck Factor is the ratio of a team\u2019s goals to its xG in a given match. 1.00 is the neutral point — finishing exactly matched chance quality. Above 1.5, a team scored well beyond what its chances were worth; below 0.5, it created clear chances but failed to convert them. An anomalous result is never treated as a fluke; it is processed as a specific, measurable imbalance between chance creation and finishing, cataloged by the Crime Engine.

The Crime Engine Anomaly Matrix

Our algorithmic engine dynamically matches complex performance arrays—contrasting raw goals against spatial threat values and team strength parameters. When the calculated Crime Index breaks past 60%, the match node is flagged with a specific tactical signature:

FALSE_WINNER (The xG Heist)The defining anomaly scenario where one side completely outplays their opponent across underlying expected goals metrics (differential > 1.2 xG), yet the defending side walks away with all 3 points.
CLINICAL_FRAUD (Finishing Malfeasance)An extreme spike in final-third execution. Occurs when a side secures an expansive scoreline (scoring 3 or more goals) while operating with a cumulative threat level below 0.8 xG.
ELO_UPSET (The Fall of a Titan)A major structural collapse where a heavily favored side drops a match by a margin of 2 or more goals against a deep underdog (ELO gap exceeding 250 points).
HIDDEN_DOMINANCE (Shadow Suffocation)A scoreless or deadlocked draw that completely misrepresents the tactical nature of the game due to an overwhelming internal xG disparity (>= 1.5).
MARKET_ILLUSION (Distorting the Board)A highly unexpected blowout (margin of 3+ goals) occurring between evenly matched teams, completely breaking initial market expectations.
FINISHING_FRAUD / TACTICAL_DEADLOCKAnomalous distribution matrices at the statistical boundaries — ranging from high-scoring chaos (5+ total goals) to high-value stalemates (> 2.5 combined xG) ending 0-0.

Who Runs This

Bravsen is a one-person project — I write here as Kostya Bravsen. This isn't a newsroom in the BBC or ESPN sense — it's an independent project I run myself, and I also publish on Tribuna.

How the reports are made: the underlying data (score, xG, shots, events) comes exclusively from a verified sports API — I don't invent or hand-edit it. I use a language model as a tool to build a fast first draft from those numbers. From there it goes through layered review: automated fact filters, repetition and logic checks, plus my own final pass. I don't publish raw AI output — every piece goes through editorial oversight to keep the accuracy, style, and depth intact.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these betting tips or live predictions?
No. Bravsen Intelligence focuses strictly on retrospective analysis of finished matches and has nothing to do with betting or predictions. The platform investigates gaps between expected and actual results and explains them through tactical and game-level causes.
How are the reports produced?
Every report is built automatically from verified match data (score, xG, shots, possession, minute-by-minute events) supplied by an independent sports data API. Texts pass a layered editorial pipeline: deterministic fact and format filters, repetition control against the archive, and a hard ban on any claim not present in the data. Spotted a factual error? Email baykovkostya@gmail.com and the piece will be corrected.
Which leagues and tournaments are currently audited?
Our monitoring framework tracks 12 elite global competitions: the English Premier League (EPL), Spanish La Liga, Italian Serie A, German Bundesliga, French Ligue 1, Dutch Eredivisie, Portuguese Primeira Liga, English Championship, Brazilian Série A, along with major international tournaments—the UEFA Champions League, FIFA World Cup, and UEFA Euro.
How frequently is the investigation log updated?
The evaluation scripts execute continuously throughout the day following the completion of active match nodes. During heavy calendar intervals, the platform yields between 2 to 4 detailed anomaly reports daily.

"The scoreboard records the outcome. The numbers explain how it happened. We deal in the second part."
